Falafel time
I learned that there were radioactive materials in smoke detectors from the story of David Hahn. Only in reading about it recently did I find out that he had died.

I had this mp3 player way back in the day. I bought it from ebay in maybe 1999? I couldn't even afford extra storage for it so I was rocking 32MB internal memory on this thing.
